Prolouge


Skeeter darted through the brown trunked trees. He looked back and saw the dog close at hand. He hissed a warning hiss and turned around and merged from hitting a tree. The dog hit the tree and howled loudly. Skeeter stopped and looked back. The dog looked down on him and bared its teeth. The dog was blind in one eye. Stupid dogs! He thought and began to ran as the dogs breath hit his neck. The dog caught up to his side. It snapped at his side and Skeeter veered to miss another tree. The dog jumped over the tree trunk that Skeeter had veered to miss. The dog stopped and let out a shrill howl. Skeeter shuddered. The dog walked up to him slowly. Beat it cat, or your dog chow! The dog barked in his face. Kid watch out! A growl sounded behind him. Skeeter was young then, and he had some dog friends too, but he never knew they would save him from another dog. The bigger dog looked up from Skeeter and growled low. Come here Skeeter. The golden retreiever said. Skeeter nodded and walked towards him.
